Welcome to Moorside Junior School

About Us

Moorside Junior School

The Junior School, like the Infant School, is maintained by North Yorkshire County Council. Moorside Junior School caters for children between the ages of 7 and 11 years of age.

The school is situated approximately half a mile from the historic city centre of Ripon and benefits from being set in one and a half acres of grounds, consisting of landscaped lawns, trees and play areas.

Its early sixties buildings are pleasant and consist of six spacious classrooms, a computer suite, an art/technology room, a library, dining room and main hall. The school is well  cared for and offers a safe, happy and stimulating environment in which your child can learn and develop.
